Min-Shiou Kao, one of
my roommates, comes from Yunlin County. According to his introduction, his
hometown focuses on agriculture, such as rice and fresh vegetables. He studies in the department
of public finance, which requires him to take courses concerning math, such as calculus
and accounting. However, due to my poor math, it is hard for me to imagine what
life will be if I soak myself in calculus.
Besides,
he is good at playing basketball. He also joins the department team, playing the position as a power forward. At first, I think he is suitable for the
position of shooting guard, for he isn’t very tall. But the fact is that he is
the second tallest guy among all the freshman players. After taking teamwork
into consideration, he accepts his coach’s suggestion and tries hard to meet
the standard of power forward. Sometimes
he even practices three times a week!
Hi, I am Lynn, and I major in law, too. My hometown is Taichung but I have moved to Taipei since I was 3 because of my parents’ workplaces were changed. I am not good at math as well; as a result, I didn’t apply for any department in college of commerce. XD It seems that your roommate is really busy playing basketball. Did you join any team of our department yet? I think life in NCCU will be more colorful because of these activities. Let’s enjoy our university life. :-D
